If a customer presents with a severe sore throat and the symptoms below, refer to the GP, as they may have glandular fever.3
- Extreme tiredness or exhaustion
- Fever
- Tonsillitis that has not improved
(symptoms typically improve within 3-4 days) - Feeling hot and shivery
