If the idea you wish to introduce is related to public health, what are the priorities in your local community?
- How does this idea – perhaps a smoking cessation service to support the tobacco control plan, say, or diabetes services to support the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme – fit into the wider healthcare agenda?
- Do local GPs, clinics or nurses offer similar services? Is it a priority for your local authority? What does the idea do to support the community pharmacy agenda? If the idea needs to be commissioned by the local authority, is it something they are willing to pay for, and does it meet all their criteria?
