module menu icon Implementation and feedback

It might be a good idea to start on a small scale, learn from mistakes and then expand on it

For example, if you want to offer a new weight management service, you could approach a few customers
at first, review how each discussion went and how long it took, then check that all the team involved are confident before then marketing the service on a wider scale. This can increase everyone’s confidence in delivering the idea and avoid people feeling overwhelmed.

Changes and new initiatives can help communitypharmacy business to survive in changing times, but need a lot of careful research and planning to be a success.

After the idea has been implemented, remember to keep looking for feedback from users and those involved in delivering the idea.

There may be potential areas for improvement in how patients are recruited, how the idea is implemented or how patients are followed up.

Again, review all the stakeholders identified when planning how the idea would work, and find out what their views are, if appropriate. For example, if you were delivering a vaccination service, have the GPs referred patients to you? Has there been an impact in the overall vaccination uptake in the area? Have any concerns about the service been addressed
