When considering the services that can be provided from the consultation room, the equipment and facilities are important. The range of equipment will vary, depending on the services offered, but might include:
    • Computer
    • Printer
    • Forms for consent, or to complete when delivering the service
    • Equipment
    • Sink – with hot and cold water and antibacterial handwash
    • Sharps bins
    • Tape measure
    • Gloves
    • Shredder
    • Anaphylaxis kits
    • Hearing loop
    • Patient information leaflets
    • Weighing scales
    • Placebo inhalers/InCheck device and mouthpieces
    • Copies of any relevant formularies
    • Reference sources (eg BNF)
