The pharmacy landscape, along with the whole of healthcare, has undergone an immense change in the past decade or two. But it’s likely that the process of change has only just begun.

Change is constant: the financial crisis, budgetary constraints, the ever-ageing population, the way in which people have embraced evolving technology, and changing lifestyles and shopping habits – the list of changes goes on. Many of today’s younger generation do not go shopping in the conventional sense any more.

Instead, it’s all about easy access at the touch of a few buttons on their smartphones. So how are will technological advances and changes in behaviour affect pharmacy in the future?
