Chairman of the LIPCO federated group Mukesh Lad highlights the importance of delivering a quality flu vaccination service and shares tips to ensure your service is up to scratch.

“Flu is a great example of how community pharmacy can really help both patients and the profession, as well as make important commercial gains,” says Mukesh. “Flu allows us to do something I think we’ve been itching to do for years, in terms of giving us a clinical aspect to our work and making use of all that training we’ve done.

“But I think that when patients see us delivering something they’ve previously perceived as a doctor’s role, and from their pharmacy – that’s potentially a game changer.”
