The mentor and mentee will be meeting regularly to work on the goals and outcomes that the mentee wants to achieve.
The mentee should take responsibility for setting the agenda and bringing a challenge or problem to discuss at the mentoring meeting and feeding back on actions taken since the last meeting.
The GROW model can be used to structure mentoring meetings. GROW stands for Goal, Reality, Options and Will (see below). The GROW model ensures the discussion follows a logical sequence. It is particularly useful to move the mentee from procrastinating over a problem to taking action to address it.
