Scenario 3 - Recommendations

"I recommended strawberry-flavoured Calprofen suspension, which contains ibuprofen. It will help with her temperature and with any aches and pains if she gets them."
"I pointed out that it's sugar free. I also said that ibuprofen and paracetamol shouldn't be given at the same time, but he can give her the ibuprofen as the GP said, if she is still in distress before her next dose of paracetamol is due.5 He should make a note of what he has given and when. If this doesn't help, I said that he should call back to speak to our pharmacist.
I also said to make sure she keeps drinking plenty of fluids, and to check on her at night."
