After watching this video, you may want to review your current advice to customers regarding whether they need to take OTC ibuprofen-based pain relief with food, as some products may be taken with water alone, unless otherwise recommended by a doctor.
Always check the instructions on the pack and SPC for guidance.
However, customers with an ulcer or history of ulcer, or a history of bleeding or perforation as a result of using NSAIDs, should still not be recommended OTC ibuprofen.
