When to refer
You should refer to the pharmacist customers who have:
- Diabetes as they are more susceptible to further complications
- Athlete’s foot that has persisted after treatment
- Any condition that involves weeping skin
- Symptoms that may be due to an infection (e.g. if the foot is hot and painful).
