Tiredness is common for many people and often regarded as a fact of life, being linked with mood, the accumulation of life’s stresses and lifestyle factors. But it’s far from normal. If not dealt with effectively, tiredness can have a profound effect on physical and mental health, as well as work and relationships.

- Understand what causes tiredness and recognise people who are more likely to suffer from it
- Be aware of the negative impact of tiredness on general health
- Know the treatment and self care options
- Know when to refer to the pharmacist.
