This OTC module is about eye care. It will consider common eye conditions and their treatment.
Objectives
After studying this module, assistants will:
- Be familiar with the basic structure of the human eye
- Understand some of the most common minor eye conditions
- Have a basic understanding of some serious eye conditions
- Be aware of the importance of regular eye checks
- Be able to offer lifestyle advice to maintain healthy eyes
- Know which customers to refer to the pharmacist.
