Superdrug Online Doctor has partnered with England Netball and the Netball Super League in a deal that will see the pharmacy chain invest a six-figure sum to encourage female participation in the sport.
Superdrug said it was unable to provide a specific figure but insisted the money will help promote active lifestyles for women and support England Netball’s flagship participation programme Back to Netball by funding community netball sessions.
Superdrug also said the partnership “complements” England Netball’s
NETBALLHer initiative which educates and supports women and girls at all levels of sport.
In return, Superdrug Online Doctor said it “will have a visible presence at both England Netball and NSL major events,” starting with the Vitality Netball Nations Cup next month at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena.
“This sponsorship not only reflects our commitment to promoting health and well-being, but also aligns with our values of supporting active communities and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential,” said Chloe Anderson, head of healthcare services at Superdrug.
“We are looking forward to working together to inspire a healthier, more active future.”
