Scenario
Pharmacy technician Vicky is talking to Robert Yates, a 47-year-old who works in a nearby office and sometimes pops in to pick up necessities for his family.
“I’m not sure if it is anything to worry about, but I’ve noticed that my feet have been really hurting recently. It has got worse over the last few months, and is particularly bad when I get up in the morning or after sitting at my desk all day at work,” Robert explains. “When I’ve been moving for a bit it’s alright, but I was at a gig the other evening and I was more or less limping on the way home because the heel pain was so severe. Do you think it will get better on its own, or should I see someone about it? I’m keen to get out for a run, but I don’t want to make it worse.”
