Karina Shah is in the pharmacy to collect her infant daughter’s prescription.
“I was hoping you’d be here today, Vicky,” she says. “Can I have a word?”
“Of course,” replies pharmacy technician Vicky, leading Karina to the consultation room. “How can I help?”
“I’ve been called for my Covid-19 vaccination – I think my age group has come round,” explains Karina. “But I don’t know what to do. I’m pregnant and I’ve got my 12-week scan soon so it’s hard to know what the right thing to do is.”
