Welcome to the third module in our series looking at COPD. It is based on the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) focal point programme on Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and is designed to give pharmacy technicians an overview and better understanding of this area of practice.

• Know the options for the management of breathlessness and anxiety for people living with more advanced disease
• Be aware of the importance of stopping smoking for people with the condition.
