Before you begin, have you completed the first two modules in this series about dementia?
Part one: Understanding dementia
Part two: Risk factors and diagnosis
There is currently no cure for dementia and medicines to treat its symptoms are limited. Those that are available may not be suitable for everyone, which is why it is important to have a holistic, person-centred approach to the management of dementia. There are plenty of opportunities for pharmacy professionals to help people living with dementia, support medicines optimisation and enable the person to live well with their condition.
