Learning together with CPPE

Interprofessional learning enables multidisciplinary teams to work together to improve the quality of patient care and outcomes.

CPPE develops programmes and workshops that are suitable for inter-professional learning. The following is a taster of some of the workshops on offer.

Half-day events

'Working together for patient safety' are half-day events for GPs or GP trainees and community pharmacists, with a preparatory half-day session for pharmacists only.

The main aim of these events is for GPs and community pharmacists to understand each other's roles and establish ways to build effective professional relationships to improve medicines optimisation and patient outcomes. You can choose to attend events with a clinical focus on either dementia or NSAIDs.

Inhaler technique training

CPPE is working with local CCGs to deliver inhaler technique learning events to multidisciplinary groups of healthcare professionals, including GPs, pharmacists, school and practice nurses, and pharmacy technicians. The training shows how, by working together, they can deliver better outcomes for patients.
