Goal
To be aware of policy ensuring infants have a healthy start in life, whether breast or formula fed, and how the latest advisory on vitamin D applies to infants.
Objectives
After completing this module, you should be more aware of:
- The persuasive messages encouraging new mums to persist longer with breastfeeding
- Support and information for mums regarding formula feeding
- The Health Matters and Start4Life nutritional policy for young children
- The SARC vitamin D and health report recommendations for infants.
